Explanatory Note
Qualification means an IPSQA Certification, that conforms to ISO17024:2012, that has a minimum of 10 credits (IQF) and made up of at least two parts: Part A (Theory) and Part B (Practical). Certificates in Public Safety (CertPubS®) also require Part C (Professional Requirements).
For example: Certificate in Public Safety (Emergency Vehicle Operator), or ProQual NFPA1006 Confined Space Operator.
Micro-Credential means an IPSQA Certification, that conforms to ISO17024:2012, that has a mmaximum of 10 credits (IQF) and made up of at least two parts: Part A (Theory) and Part B (Practical).
For example: Award in Public Safety (Defensive Tactics).
In-Person Course is an system label for CorePass® assessments. This does not require an in-person course and is not rqeuired to comply with ISO17024:2012.
