LawPass® is IPSQA’s quality‑assured solution for validating a candidate’s understanding and application of country‑ or state‑specific laws, regulations and codes. It recognises that while core technical skills are largely transferable across borders, legal requirements can vary significantly between jurisdictions and even between industries or specialist tasks, such as confined space work.

LawPass® provides additional assurance that a certified professional not only meets IPSQA’s technical standards, but also understands the specific legal framework in which they are operating. This is particularly valuable when a candidate is certified in one country and then needs to work in another, where legislation, codes of practice, or enforcement expectations may differ. Through targeted gap training and a focused, jurisdiction‑specific assessment, LawPass® helps organisations confirm that their workforce is both technically competent and legally aligned to the environment in which they work.

Each LawPass® has its own syllabus that is publicly accessible to ensure stakeholders can understand the content covered in the assessment. 

LawPass® certification is consolidated on our Global Transcript, making credential records management easy.

Accredited Testing Centre‘s also can deliver custom training or assessment using our Blank Card or CPD Card systems, that both allow event syllabus to be publicly accessible via the candidates QR code. These options are not quality assured by IPSQA and proprietary to the ATC.
