IPSQA Verified: Training courses that you can have confidence in
IPSQA Verified Training is a quality mark for training courses that meet a rigorous international standard for design, delivery, and learner experience, without being a professional certification under ISO/IEC 17024:2012.
What IPSQA Verified Training Is
IPSQA Verified Training is a formal course approval framework for training providers in any subject area and delivery mode. It confirms that a course is well-designed, well-delivered, and systematically maintained, but does not certify individual competence or grant a licence to practise.
Relationship to ISO 17024
IPSQA Verified Training is intentionally separate from personnel certification under ISO/IEC 17024. It evaluates the quality of training and provider systems, while ISO 17024 schemes focus on assessing and certifying the competence of individual practitioners.
The Verified Training standard is built on ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 21001 (education organizations), and ISO 29993/29994 (learning services and distance learning). This allows providers to align their courses with the expectations of ISO 17024 certification schemes while maintaining a clear boundary between course completion and competence certification.
