Many professional certifications, including those issued by IPSQA require Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain or re-certify, and at IPSQA we make certification simple with our new CPDPass® service. We now offer our Accredited Testing Centres (ATCs) the option to record any relevant CPD delivered to their students and have this activity listed on their IPSQA transcript. IPSQA does not endorse any CPD activity as the authority is not a training provider. We call this service CPDPass® and it allows ATC’s to record the CPD event name, date and duration (in hours) at the bottom of the candidate’s credential check, verifiable online in real-time through their unique QR code. ATC’s can also generate a CPDPass® Attendance Certificate also (a fee applies) that has the ATC’s own logo exclusively on it to distinguish it from IPSQA certification. Welcome to the IPSQA Accredited Testing Centre Administration Course. This course prepares you to get your ATC ready to offer IPSQA certification products, set up assessment events in ITM (our cloud database) and carry out post-event administration. Once you have completed this course you will be emailed a course completion certificate. You then can have your ATC Principle Executive Officer nominate you to IPSQA to be designated as an administrator which triggers your administrative privileges in ITM. Make sure you listen carefully to all the videos content as some content for the quizzes are recorded in the audio only to ensure you understand all the key points expressed. ATCs can offer ProQual and DefraQual™ certification products providing they adhere to the following: Comply with ISO 17024:2012 Use only assessors that are designated by IPSQA Use approved assessment tools that have been approved by IPSQA (i.e. moderated or on the approved list). Do not provide RPL services or retrospective assessment for these products Maintain a license to use NFPA standards being assessed (ProQual only) from www.nfpa.org Access to the relevant NFPA standard is crucial for both the assessor and student during assessments. Specifically, Part B assessments rely on the specific criteria outlined in the NFPA standard. The administration of is very similar to the Certificate in Public Safety, but the candidate is not required to demonstrate experience (Part C requirements). An administration checklist for IPSQA ProQual and DefraQual™ certification product is available on ITM (available upon designation as an ATC Assessor).
